Lohman///'s next film was the dramaFlicka, which was released onOctober 20,2006.At the age of25, Lohman played a 16-year-old girl who befriends a wild mustang in the film.Lohman had never ridden a horse prior to filming and trained rigorously for a month.She said that she was"constantly thrown emotionally and physically"while working with the horses for this role.Flicka went on to become a surprise hit in the DVD market.
